About the Role:
The Legal Case Manager Assistant is the operational backbone of our federal disability retirement process. You are a detail-oriented professional who thrives on organization, meeting strict deadlines, and navigating the administrative complexities of government bureaucracy.
These are the responsibilities of a Legal Case Manager Assistant:
- Execute back-end administrative tasks and prepare necessary filings for multiple Case Managers simultaneously
- Directly handle the completion and physical mailing of applications, ensuring all forms are accurate and submitted via the correct channels
- Assist in communication with federal agencies by proactively tracking, submitting, and verifying the status of pending paperwork
- Maintain standardized digital files for all assigned cases, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with federal deadlines
- Independently balance the administrative needs of different Case Managers to ensure no portfolio falls behind
- Provide regular updates to the Case Manager team regarding agency bottlenecks or missing documentation
Here are some of the opportunities this position offers:
- Collaborate with a team of engaged professionals
- Vertical and horizontal growth opportunities
- Extensive classroom and hands on training
- Schedule flexibility
- Sweet office perks (like an espresso bar!)
