For over a decade the Harris Federal Law Firm has been helping federal employees with workers compensation claims, federal disability retirement cases and the resolution of employment disputes. We often see federal employees have received little training in what benefits they deserve and how those benefits interact. For example, very few are aware if they are entitled to a schedule award – or that they can’t receive regular workers’ compensation and a schedule award at the same time.
Our job is to assist them in receiving the fullest extent of their benefits – but the employee must have an opportunity to learn about their rights and options in order to make an educated decision on whether or not they want to pursue the benefits. Generally, few agencies allow federal employees administrative time to participate in training. It is also often cost prohibitive to participate in face-to-face training.
Therefore, we decided to present FREE federal employee webinars! The webinars provide a complementary alternative to face-to-face training, so you can learn more about federal disability retirement without leaving the comfort of your own home. Our webinars are also interactive, and allow you to ask questions along the way.
